DESCRIPTION
From lift lines to backcountry spines, the Sentinel Jacket remains a durable classic for deep-snow ambitions in rugged terrain. Built with the features you need to keep comfy while stepping out of your comfort zone like 3L GORE-TEX ePE that uses a tough 100d face fabric , and a modern, women’s-specific fit provides better articulation. A helmet-compatible StormHood™ , snow skirt, and hem adjuster keep weather on the outside, while a thin layer of soft-backed flannel keeps you cozy on the inside.
What's been updated:The Sentinel’s face fabric has been upped from 80d to100d for more toughness and durability. This jacket also now has an added chest pocket for quick access to small stowables, bigger hand pockets with bellows, an integrated goggle wipe, and a refined overall cut for a true modern fit.
Product tip: The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, but just as strong and durable as the materials we used before. You may notice the face fabric “wetting out” slightly faster in products with ePE membranes, but rest assured this does not affect the waterproofing of the membrane itself. If you notice the fabric wetting out faster than you’d like, simply wash the jacket and dry it to remove the oil contamination and bring the DWR back to its full power.
